Resistance: This variety is characterized by very high resistance to viral disease and medium to high resistance to fungal diseases.

Purpose: The variety is intended for the production of quality potatoes for long storage. It is characterized by very good taste, and it is very suitable for processing in French fries.

Recommendations for growth: Laura is medium demanding in terms of soil quality and irrigation, although experience has shown that it yields the best results on slightly more difficult land and in uniform water supply.

Planting: Recommended spacing between rows is 28-30 centimetres (~ 46,000 plants / hectare)

Preparation: Temperature stroke, heating the seed 3 days before planting

Herbicides: This variety is sensitive to herbicide based on metribuzine (Sencor), which is why it is not recommended to use this herbicide after the emergence of potatoes.

Fertilization: On the good soil it is 100 kilograms / hectare of nitrogen, 130-150 kilograms / hectare phosphate, 180-200 kilograms of potassium. Additional fertilization with magnesium ensures yield and quality (100 kilograms / hectares). Do not overuse nitrogen.
